Wings = many megalithic mounds in the southern Iberian peninsula, Sardinia and the British Isles present a concave façade with its two extremities ending in extensions known as wings or horns. They define a partly enclosed space described as the forecourt of a horned cairn. See also court cairn and Giants' Tomb.
