Naxos = one of the Cycladic islands and probably the earliest sites of a marble quarry.
Nodule = (in geology) a small knobbly rock or cluster of minerals.
Nuraghe = In Sardinia (Italy), a tower built in Cyclopean style, either simple or complex. It is the equivalent of the Corsican torre, and dates from the third millennium BCE.
